How do I make a hooklock work?
Hooklocks, a type of deadlock, provide an extra layer of mechanical security for your van. Installed between the van door and body panel, Hooklocks utilize a hook-style bolt that latches into a receiving bracket on the internal bodywork.
Operated by an external key, they create a secure additional locking point strategically placed on the door to defend against targeted van attacks.
However, due to their operational design, Hooklocks may not be suitable for all door configurations. In such cases, straight deadlocks are recommended for optimal security.
Our aftermarket Hooklocks serve as an added security feature for your van. The visible cylinder acts as a visual deterrent, complemented by a high-quality black plastic escutcheon that is UV-treated for durability.
